Jeremy Campbell returned to All Star action this weekend in the #0 Ferkel car, competing against Mother Nature and a tough field of Speedweek competitors.

In his first night back in the seat Campbell finished third in his heat race at Fremont Speedway, easily transferring to the A-Feature. With 50 cars on hand for the Speedweek event, Campbell finished 16th in the main event.

Friday’s race at Limaland was cancelled due to rain, and the All Stars moved on to Eldora Raceway Saturday night. After missing the transfer spot in his heat race Campbell battled from eighth to a second place finish in the B-Main, earning him a spot in the A-Main. Starting 22nd in the feature, Campbell put on an impressive show and fought his way to a top ten finish in a caution-free race.

“It felt great to be back racing again and I want to thank Rick Ferkel for giving me the opportunity,” Campbell said. “I could tell I’d been out of the seat awhile but I feel like things are definitely going to keep getting better.”

Campbell and the #0 will be in action again this weekend, racing Thursday at K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH, Friday at the Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, IN and Saturday at Fremont Speedway, in Fremont, Ohio.

After a long winter Jeremy Campbell returned to racing action Saturday night at Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan. Competing in the #75 Fishers Brothers Racing sprint car- Campbell finished 4th in his first start in seven months.

“I’m happy with the finish,” said Campbell. “It would have been exciting to come back and win but after not racing for so long, and being in a completely different car, I just wanted to shake things out and get back in the grove. We got a lot of races ahead of us so I know we’ll get some wins in this season.”

“I’m really excited to be racing with the Fishers- we’ve been friends since the Gumout days and they are just a great group of people,” said Campbell.

Campbell and the #75 car will be competing across Michigan and Ohio, racing almost every weekend, and hitting big shows including the Kings Royal and Knoxville Nationals. The team will be in action this weekend for the World of Outlaws races at Attica Raceway and Eldora Speedway.
