Campbell returns to Lake Ozark Speedway for first time since 2007.

The Jeremy Campbell Motorports team competed twice over the holiday weekend, traveling to Humboldt, Kansas for a NCRA / ASCS event, followed by a return to Lake Ozark Speedway for the first time since 2007 for their season opener event.

Friday Campbell struggled early in the evening, and had to qualify for the main event through the B Feature. Starting 19th in the A, he worked his way through traffic and carnage to finish 8th, earning the Hard Charger award for the evening.

Saturday’s LOS opener saw 25 cars in attendance, with Campbell again starting at the back of the heat race. This time the #10c machine was on a rail, picking through traffic and coming from the tail to win heat race #1. As high points car for the evening, Campbell started on the pole of the main event. Campbell would battle with the #23 of Seth Bergman and the #35M of Jonathon Cornell, finishing 3rd in the feature.

“It’s always great to travel and be successful on the road,” said Campbell. “Sometimes you get too comfortable at your home track, and you have to continue to push yourself to be better.

Next up on the schedule for Jeremy Campbell Motorsports is a return to the Hutchinson Fairgrounds with the NCRA series on Saturday, April 27th.
